Dear Students,
As I wrote to you yesterday, the Harvard-Yale student tailgate has had to be relocated because of standing water on Ohiri Field. The College has worked hard with athletics, HUPD, and community affairs to find an alternate location. The tailgate will now be held in the parking lot at 175 North Harvard Street, adjacent to McCurdy Track. All festivities will go on as planned and all rules of the tailgate remain the same.
There are a number of logistical changes due to the relocation of the tailgate. Please visit www.thetailgate2006.com for information on entrances, food tents, beer stations, ID tables, and the like.
Once again, I ask for your cooperation and respect for our Charlesview Apartment neighbors as well as Allston community during the tailgate festivities. Help bring success to this weekend's events, including tonight's events in the Houses, by acting responsibly, considerately, and consistently with our community standards as you celebrate in Boston and Cambridge. We are grateful to the Boston Police and local community for working with us to relocate this event.
See you at the tailgate and The Game.
